Myth about Thanksgiving

A funny myth about Thanksgiving to pass along since it is the holiday week.

Did Pilgrims really dress in black with those weird belt buckels and hats?

Well, according to Rick Shenkman, editor of hnn.us, that is a total myth. Seems they wore black on Sundays, and other days, including the first Thanksgiving, they wore white, beige, black, green and brown.

What is something you always heard of about Thanksgiving that may be a myth?
