I am just tired of all the regular stores around here. So today, a cold dreary, wet Sunday, I picked up my Auntie Wilma and headed about an hour east to a lil town called Grayson. I had heard of a KMART there that always has great bargains. But I never wanted to drive it to see if it was worth it. Well, today, being so close to Christmas and my shopping not being done yet, I decided to go.
I am actually glad that I went now. It wasn't as large as I thought it would be. And the surroundings wasn't as I thought either. For instance, within a couple hundred feet from the KMART parking lot, was a double wide mobile home sales lot. Which I thought was an odd place for that. And just the very location of the KMART seemed to be like boondockish~ (hillbilly word). Anyways, Oh yea, if you don't know by now from reading my posts, I am pure hillbilly material folks. lol. But seriously, back to the store. Anyhow, once I got inside I started finding some really good bargains. And as for my Auntie Wilma, woo wee, she took over the whole buggy! lol.
All and all, fun aside, I had a really nice time. And loved it. I would also like to mention that the folks shopping in there, as the workers, were very friendly. And much more nicer than right around here where I shop regularly! I am definately going back in a few weeks. Maybe for the after Christmas sales! OH YEA!
Dictionary for city folk:
