Breaking News | Bank Robbed by Spiderman


Breaking News | A robbery has occurred at the Salt Lick Deposit Bank Thursday, January 21, 2010, at approximately 2:15 pm.

Police in Bath County are in search of a man who held up the bank at knife point wearing a Spiderman mask. The suspect demanded money from a teller who quickly complied. The teller also placed a red dye pack inside the bag with the money. The dye pack exploded after the suspect left the bank. The "Spiderman" suspect then fled the Salt Lick Deposit Bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The particulars of the suspect as described by witnesses:

  • White Male

  • Approximately 5'8" - 5'10"

  • Wearing a Spiderman mask
  • Wearing a Gray Hoodie
  • Wearing Blue Jeans
  • White Tennis Shoes
  • Fled scene in a dark gray, mid-sized, 4 door car. Possibly a 1990's Buick LaSabre.

  • No further descriptive details are currently being released by the Bath County Sheriff, John Snedegar.
