My dad gave me this old red lantern, along with a green one also. They both have just been sitting around in a box waiting on me to do something, so I finally did. I took the globe out and and carefully painted it with a primitive snowman holding an old crow on his arm branch. And painted a little "believe" sign and attached it. I didn't keep this, but it's for sale at my Peddlers Mall booth.

Flicker Light Lantern
I took an old, green lantern and painted it black here and added a night light electric light. I then replaced the regular night light with a old fashioned flicker bulb. This way it looks as if a real flame is flickering. See video below.
I just love it. I also tied a piece of homespun fabric to the top. It sits in our home beside a wall of my husbands train collection.
