Primitive Checkerboard
This primitive style checkerboard is made from one of my mother-in-laws old cabinet door from a kitchen remodel. They were solid oak, so I thought I'd keep a few and see what I could do with them. I love these two colors together. They are my absolute favorite. And that's why I do so many items in these colors.

Makeup Tip #2
Perfect Eyebrows
To get an overall finished look of a perfect eyebrow, anyone can do this.
I take an overlay stencil made especially for eyebrows, (they come in a variety of shapes and sizes!) and apply the eyebrow powder to it, with the small, angeled brush.
Even if you have very thin (or barely none) to fuller eyebrows, you can still do this. It adds a finished, full look. Just be sure to match up the color of the eyebrow powder as close as you can to your natural one.
I just love the look it gives. Adds the finishing touch to any type of eyebrows.
These can be purchased at Walmart or the makeup store called Sally's.
