Primitive Checkerboard and Shelf

Here's an primitive looking, old crow gameboard I made. I used a left over cabinet door from my mother-in-laws remodel. I also painted the little shelf underneath, and just stenciled on the saying.
I love them displayed together.

Checkerboard

I bought this cute framed print in a Good Will. It had an ugly water sceen in it which I hated. So I painted it, then stenciled on my checkerboard pattern.
I think it turned out pretty neat looking. And it adds a punch of color to the wall.

Primitive Checkerboard

This primitive style checkerboard is made from one of my mother-in-laws old cabinet door from a kitchen remodel. They were solid oak, so I thought I'd keep a few and see what I could do with them. I love these two colors together. They are my absolute favorite. And that's why I do so many items in these colors.
