Comments Are My Reward | Award Free Blog

I am so happy and honored that people have considered my blog to be award worthy.  And especially happy that they have taken time out to nominate me for such awards. 
But sadly I must decline.

It's not that I don't love getting these awards. It is the rules that come along with them.  I often feel pressured to "pass this award on" and to link back to ____"  It kind of makes me feel like I am caught up in a chain letter of such.

So for those simple reasons I am declaring my blog an Award Free Blog.  Please do not have hard feelings for this decision.  As I am grateful for anyone taking time to read, comment and sending me those awards.  It's just that I don't like the chain letter feeling.  So I must pass, but with a kind heart.

Comments are my reward!

What do you see from your window?

This post goes along with my profile pic. Someone has once posted a comment under it, stating that it would make for a good post. I asked this question once before about a year ago, and got wonderful answers.


It's a simple question. And will give us all a lil insight as to each of our surroundings.


From my window I see big ole hills, countless trees, so bare. A few of them are hanging onto to a couple last leaves that haven't fallen yet. An empty hammock, hanging ever so still, waiting for spring yet once again. A small creak in the distant, flowing ever so gently.


My backyard is huge. It is also called the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Thats what I see from my window.

Day of Nothing?

My day of doing nothing has turned into a day of baking more pies for family, somewhow. Ugh. Now i love to bake, but believe me, a day of doing nothing would be great too.


In between baking pie crusts and filling them with cooked, chocolate pudding, I have managed to view & comment on all postings for the Comments Club today. Which is great that I am finally caught up. Finally! :-)

I'll be heading off here for a while now, but checking in again this evening. My nephew is currently on his way over to spend the night. And he keeps me pretty busy! We'll probably head out to grab something to eat, as he is hard to please. lol.

Simple question. And will give us all a lil insight as to your surroundings.

What do you see from your window?

From where I sit, in my computer room, I see big ole hills, countless trees, so bare. A few evergreens here and there. Snow falling and a lil creek that is frozen, still trying to flow in spots. It is also called the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Thats what I see from my window.
