If you haven't heard of his one of a kind audition yet, now is your chance to see it. "General" Larry Platt wrote the lyrics and sang his own song along with some cool dance moves for a 62 year old. He was the least bit shy performing in front of the American Idol judges, Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardo, Randy Jackson and guest judge, Mary J. Blige, which all laughed at him during the audition.
American Idol Judge, Simon Cowell had to be the meanie yet one more time and inform "General" Larry Platt that he was way over the age limit to be an American Idol. The age limit tops out at 28 years old to be a contestant.
Even though "General" Larry Platt did not qualify to make it into the show, he has became in instant superstar online. And I wish him all the best.
