Swagbucks Redemptions 2011

Today I was home alone, bored (although I have a million crafts I could be working on,) & thought I'd go back and click around Swagbucks again. I haven't been on the site for a few good months. So I thought I'd go see how many points I have there. If your not familiar with Swagbucks, you can read more about it here.

Anyways, I thought I'd just click through my history of sparatic cashouts, since I only visit the site every month or so. And see if my time spent there was worth it. And by time, I mean very very little. lol.
Here's a snippet of my cashouts over the 2011 span:

The bottom 9 are from 2011, so with the exception of the Crazy Dog Tee that was refunded, those 8 $5 cashouts equaled $40 bucks in Amazon giftcards. All free for me! I'm not sure what I used them for, but they probably went to my craft supplies for my items on Booth#555!

So to answer the question, "is Swagbucks really worth it?" My answer is definitely yes, even though I barely ever log in there!

Earn Money Online | Part 7

Since my first post, Earn Money Online by Answering Questions, I decided to do a series on this topic to share the sites I like, that enables you to earn money online.

How much is your time worth? Let Jingit give you an idea. Haven't you ever heard of Jingit? Don't worry, not too many people have yet.

Jingit is a new and upcoming internet company, currently in beta mode, that pays people, instantly, to view their ads through videos. The videos are basically commercials for various brands. You are not going to "get rich quick," by any means. There is a cap on the amount of weekly earnings, and to start off that cap is $5.00. And remember, since the company is in beta mode, you will not reach that limit yet. They are still running tests and do not have enough videos available for all to meet their limit. Well, something like that is what they said within a video ad on the site that I just watched.

They do have an optional referral system but it only helps you to reach a new level of earnings per week. And that level caps out at $10.00. So see, even if you reach your weekly limit, after the number of referrals needed, you can only make up to $10.00 per week. But I think of it in a long term state of mind. At years end that could be some extra "free" Christmas spending money in my account.

And that leads me to how Jingit pays you. They require you, basically, to request a Jingit Visa Debit Card (which has all sorts of fees unless used on a normal basis) so that you can load your earnings onto that, then spend. But the only thing I didn't really like is that they charge you $2.00 to request that Visa. You don't have to pay out of your pocket, it comes straight out of what you have earned there at Jingit. So that's good, but I still didn't like having to pay for it.

This is a website that allows various ways to earn points (Swagbucks) which can be redeemed for mostly gift cards or Paypal. Ways of Swagbucks include using the Swagbuck search engine, answering polls, shopping online or viewing videos. It all earns points.

Associated Content Yahoo Contributor Network

Formerly known as Associated Content (AC) until May 19, 2010, when Yahoo purchased Associated Content for more than $100 million. AC is now known by Yahoo Contributor Network.

AC was started by Luke Beatty in 2005 as an online publisher and distributor for original content. The site allowed everyone to publish their own content on various subjects and AC distributed that content online to various partners.

The earning process is basically the same as Gather. Seems as though you are paid based on views that your content brings in. See with each view, YCN earns money through ads places on the content you published. And a portion of that revenue is returned to you, the writer, on a monthly basis, through PayPal.

Just a note worth mentioning. If you are a writer of valued content, such as short stories, novels, etc. the Yahoo Contributor Network may not be right for you. Scott Rosenberg claims that AC does not aim its' content at human readers. They simply want to influence search engines such as Google with their content. And on a level of some sorts, I agree. I believe content such as recipes and articles about hot topics are best for the Yahoo Contributor Network. As most people click in there for some quick info.

Redgage

Redgage is a website that pays you for what you already do online. Things like socializing by sharing blogs, photos, videos, links and documents.
I use to use a famous free photo hosting site called Photobucket before finding Redgage. Just simply because I wanted a place to store photos online in case my pc crashed. But then I learned about Redgage. And that you can actually make money from not only uploading your pics there, but by sharing other types of things like the blogs that I usually posted for free on other sites.

The earning here are based on views again also. And each user's content has a customized rate for every 1000 views. So the more you post, the more potential you have at earning. Which is great for people like me that love to post numerous photos!

As I said in my last post, I do realize that with most of these sites, the amount earned is small, but if you do continue to do the offers, surverys or what-have-you on a daily, they will all add up to a nice amount. And hey, it's all free. Even if you don't have much time on your hands, you can try to incorporate a few clicks here and there on these sites daily and it will add up. I try to do my daily clicking around when I log in to check my email. So I kinda kill two birds with one stone.

And also, as I said before in my blog, I'm gonna try to find a new sites like this each week, if possible. And try to share it with ya. So don't let my similar post titles fool ya, each one is different, just based on the same topic.

I'm not including any referral link whatsoever, so that this post will be legitimate for our site's posting rules. And I won't get any credit whatsoever if you decide to go to the site and try it out. I just wanted to share it and let you know of yet another one of the ways you can earn money online.

It's an ask and answer type of site that is looking for people who have a special degree on a variety of topics or for the average person that doesn't mind searching out the answers.

As I said in my last post, I do realize that with most of these sites, the amount earned is small, but if you do continue to do the offers, surverys or what-have-you on a daily, they will all add up to a nice amount. And hey, it's all free. Even if you don't have much time on your hands, you can try to incorporate a few clicks here and there on these sites daily and it will add up. Simple Ways to Earn Money Online | Part 2

Since my last post, Earn Money Online by Answering Questions, I have ran across another interesting site. It's called Cash Crate. Have you heard of it yet? I hadn't saw any posts about it, so I thought I'd share it. I'm signing up there today, so after a few days I'm sure I'll have more to tell ya. I'm not including any referral link whatsoever, so that this post will be legitimate for our site's posting rules. And I won't get any credit whatsoever if you decide to go to the site and try it out. I just wanted to share it and let you know of yet another one of the ways you can earn money online.

Cash Crate is an online website that allows you to complete surveys, do offers and try new products for free, all while making money from doing so. And they have a referral system that also allows you to make a profit when your referrals make money. So that seems like a great way to gain while not having to do anything.

I do realize that with most of these sites, the amount earned is small, but if you do continue to do the offers, surverys or what-have-you on a daily, they will all add up to a nice amount. And hey, it's all free. I just try to incorporate a few clicks here and there on these sites in my free time. Or when I'm already logging on to check my email or so.

I'm gonna try to find a new sites like this each week, if possible. And try to share it with ya. I'm sure some of them will be a bust, but who knows, we may just run across another great one like Gather in our hunt!

Earn Money Online by Answering Questions | Part 1

Can you answer questions for people with the help of an online search? If so you may wanna hear about this.

Another way to earn money online is through an answering site. It is a site you can text any question to and get an instant answer texted back. Millions of users use it daily. And that is the reason they need people on their team to answer these questions.

If you don't want to be answering the questions, they have an option to be a type of sorter for the questions. This job requires you to sort out the questions into categories and then the questions are sent to the right group of people who can then answer them by the category you sent it to.

When you first sign up, they give you a 10 minute assesment with 20 questions. Don't worry it's not hard. And if you pass it, they will then let you move on to things such as a simulation question session. To see how you do in a training and so on.

SuperPoints Cashout

I just checked my email and was happy to learn I just received money from SuperPoints! I was really taken by surprise because I'd just done a cash out there just about five days ago. So I wasn't expecting it that fast!

Just got in. Wew!
We got a lot of items marked off our Christmas list tonight. It was a busy night out. Let me tell you. Half of Kentucky must've been out shopping. lol.

Well, I'm gonna go separate all the goodies and start wrapping some.
I just wanted to say Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to everyone since I'm pretty much 100% in the Christmas spirit tonight! So I thought I'd write it on a paper and hold it up to use as my display pic. lol.

Since the Gather website basically shut down forever during their updates and the owners changed, I do not write there anymore. It really sucks and is super slow!!!
