Doppelganger | Celebrity Look Alike Generator

In a recent fad stated by Facebook, everyone is in search of their doppelganger. What is a doppelganger? Well, I had to turn to the trusty old Wikipedia to get an exact definition.

Doppelganger: As stated on Wikipedia here.

In the vernacular, the word "doppelgänger" has come to refer (as in German) to any double or look-alike of a person. The word is also used to describe the sensation of having glimpsed oneself in peripheral vision, in a position where there is no chance that it could have been a reflection. They are generally regarded as harbingers of bad luck. In some traditions, a doppelgänger seen by a person's friends or relatives portends illness or danger, while seeing one's own doppelgänger is an omen of death. In Norse mythology, a vardøger is a ghostly double who precedes a living person and is seen performing their actions in advance.

The definition left me feeling kinda freaked out. I don't know if I want to do a search and find my doppelganger. But I am sure I will, and post it to this article. If you too, want to jump on the Facebook bandwagon and keep this fad going, here's a handy celebrity look-alike generator below.

If you want to join in on the fun and see who you resemble, it is fun, fast, simple and free at Picitup.com or MyHeritage.com. You can then post it to any of your social pages and share the fun. Just a note, MyHeritage.com wants you to install a toolbar before you can use the morph feature. I hated to, but with the higher than normal usage at Picitup.com, their site is currently down. And search after search kept leading me back to MyHeritage.com.

Have fun and if you wish, feel free to leave your celebrity look-alike photo in a comment! I'd love to see which celebrities (look a likes) are reading my articles. lol.

The below results of the celebrity look alike generator are mine. However, I don't think I really resemble any of the ones MyHeritage.com chose for me. And so therefore, I retried it all over again with a different picture of myself a few times. And here are the links to my other look-a-likes:

Anna Kournikova (famous tennis player) look-a-like.

Jessica Simpson (famous singer) look-a-like.

Organizing My Life

I am trying to get myself organized tonight. For the good of the Comments Club I'm in, and for the upkeep of my blog. And for just basically a little structure for my everyday chaotic life. So I actually went out and bought a monthly planner for 2011. And I am already marking weekly and some daily online activities which need to be taken care of.

So many of these, I unintentionally (spell check) neglect. And then when I do remember them, I feel so bad. I do manage to keep up with alot of stuff on time. So I know I can do this.

Right now, I'm sitting here brainstorming, trying to remember all the sites that I love to visit either on a daily or weekly level. And for the life of me, I can only think of about 3. lol. I know theres like 20 more floating around in my mind. I'm sure they will come to me.

So for now, gonna call it a night here and work in my planner. Maybe I will go through my favorites list and see what's in there.

Happy Gathering!

Do you keep a daily planner to help with online activities?

Update on my Organizing

I stayed up late last night, after posting about trying to organize my life into the new planner I bought. So far it's going good. I have all the main events down and just need to figure out those websites that I still cannot recall that I liked. Other than that, if I can stick to it, it seems like things will be a little easier for me. Let's see!

ps. I even found time to empty and clean out my purse tonight! It's so much lighter :-)

Is your purse or wallet overstuffed with items of no use?

List a Website...

I am a huge online fan of finding cool websites (new or old) to visit. I would rather poke around in a google search at about page 10-20 of the results to find a hidden treasure of a site. There are millions out there just waiting to be seen.

Got a favorite? Or have one you would like to list?

Simply list it! I will take a look (and whoever reads this) might also!
