Slit Chicken Breasts smothered in brocolli & rice

My husband is home this week due to the snowy weather! YAY for me!! (He's currently outside playing in the snow, making "snow creatures." lol. So I am making dinner, which is odd for me during the week. I usually cook for only me until Saturday and Sunday comes around. And use the work cook lightly. lol. He, on the other hand, eats out day after day. I know for a fact he gets tired of it, so that is one reason we never seem to eat out much when he's at home.

Anyways, I am making some yummy split chicken breasts smothered in rice & brocolli.

Snow...January 2011

Everything is still covered in the cold white stuff outside today.

I fought the blistering cold to go outside and snap a few pics to share. After viewing them all, I only really like one. lol.

And here it is. Says nothing but "burrrrrr" to me. lol.

Something worth mentioning

is tonight's weather. It is currently 13* here at 12:32am. Dang it is that late? Welp, guess it is! Tomorrow's forecast calls for a high of 23* which isn't gonna feel like any improvement whatsoever!

Something notable is the current wind chill factor which is only 7*. Dang, that is cold.
