December 3 | My Birthday!!! YAY

Yep, today is my birthday! And even though most of us say, "Awww, it's just another day, I don't want anything," I think deep down, we all want a little recognition. Whatever that maybe. Could be a card, a cake, a visit from a friend, a simple phone call, party or just a comment saying "happy birthday."

This year has been great. Last year was not such a good one, because I've been a little under the weather the past few days due to a stomach virus (look close at pic lol I still feel sick) that's been going around, but all and all today was great! And we've spent the entire day out. Just shopping, eating and talking. I think my favorite part is just the being with him. Didn't matter what we really did, cause we were together.

I got some great gifts including a tanning bed, which amazed me, a room makeover (Zebra Style) I need to snap a pic of that, and a pink robe, fuzzy Jessica Simpson house slippers, tv, jacket and something else I can't recall. But my favorite of all the gifts is the simple flowers in the pic. I just love wild flowers, and this year my husband got me two bouquets called "Crazy Daisies" due to the tie dyed colors. I just LOVE THEM!

And I'd like to say thank you, to all who read my blog that come from Facebook, I just love the birthday comments that have been coming all day! THANK YOU, Thank you, thank you!

birthdays, old, old age, how old do you feel thank you

Goodmorning Gather. I'm in the process of getting ready for the day, but snagged a few minutes to sit down and do a quick post.

I'll be doing alot of running today and that's why I tried to post a few extra posts last night. I usually have one saved in "drafts" that I am working on. That way I always have something to post. But this morning it's empty.

I have to take my aunt to her post surgery checkup this morning. Then take her home. Go to the Peddlers Mall. Do all the goody stuff there like straighten and clean. I will take more to restock later, as I don't have the time today. Because my husband is suppose to be in early this evening, and on a Thursday! Yay. I usually don't get to see him until Friday night or sometimes Saturday night. Anyways, when he gets in this evening, he is taking me out for a birthday dinner in Winchester. Just a quiet "us" dinner. My birthday isn't actually until tomorrow, but we won't have time for it then, as other stuff is already scheduled. And we can't have it on Saturday because we have a houseguest comming.

Anyways, as always, my little quick post has lead to a lenghty one, so I'll stop now. lol. Before Gather runs out of virtual ink.

How do you ususally celebrate your birthday?

I was stood up...

My birthday plans for yesterdays dinner with my hubby were canceled. After I waited all day too. He had to work longer than expected and did get to come home though. But it was at 9:30pm. But I am hopeing we will arrange some things tonight and get to have it. If not, then there's always next year.

It sucks being stood up. Espcecially when you wait all day for something.

I am so super happy! The Fed-Ex guy just left and we all know how those delivery people get us going. We see them, our blood starts pumping harder. Cause we know we have some goodies hid on their truck. And it's soon to be ours!

I had ordered my husband a 50" flat screen for his birthday. It is on Dec. 19th, but I had to get it early because of a great deal. Our regular tv is about 8 years old and is one of those big screens that sit in the floor, probably a 52" or so. So this one is a little smaller, but WAYYY NEWER! And thankfully, as usual, my husband is not home through the week, so he wasn't here to find it. But, it's a huge box, and is gonna be hard to hide. Not to mention it's kinda heavy. I have it hidden behind the seate~ (whatever you call it, it's a fainting couch type) not an actual couch, anyways, with a blanket over the box.

I am just sooo happy! And excited. I don't know if i can wait till his birthday to give it to him or not. Thats a long time away to keep such a huge thing hid!
